Access to Chameleon systems at TACC will be unavailable from 8:30 AM CDT until 1:30 PM CDT on December 9, 2018 to allow for upgrades to the TACC core network hardware. This will affect CHI@TACC, KVM@TACC, and the ChameleonCloud portal (https://www.chameleoncloud.org)

Update: Maintenance is complete. Thank you for your patience.

We will be conducting a networking services upgrade for the CHI@TACC site on Monday, November 26 starting at 10:00 AM CST, ending by 4:00 PM CST the same day. During this time the networking services of CHI@TACC will be unavailable, meaning that no new instances can be launched, and no changes to user-defined networking will be possible. Traffic to instances created on Skylake Compute nodes will be affected, but we do not expect any interruption to other instances.

UPDATE: Today's work is complete and services have been returned to normal.

We will be taking the Swift Object Store offline temporarily at CHI@UC on Tuesday, October 30th from 9:30AM until about 2PM CST for network maintenance. We will send out an all clear notice when the work is complete.

CHI@TACC is experiencing an outage for networking to instances. We are investigating the issue, and will update you when it is resolved.

Network outage on CHI@UC Skylake nodes

We are experiencing a networking outage impacting Skylake nodes on CHI@UC. Deployment of new instances and connectivity to existing ones may fail. We are investigating this issue and will provide an update as soon as possible. Haswell nodes on CHI@UC can still be used successfully.

Update: Due to weather concerns, we are postponing the date of maintenance to the following Sunday, September 23, 2018.

Access to all TACC systems will be unavailable from 8:00 AM CDT until 4:00 PM CDT on September 16, 2018 to allow for upgrades to the TACC core network hardware. Jobs will continue to run, but users will have no access to TACC services and systems until the upgrade is complete.
