UPDATE: We've cleared the issues with power management and the CHI@UC site should be stablized. Please file help desk tickets if your individual instance is having trouble coming back online.
UPDATE: We are re-opening this outage as we're seeing problems with the out-of-band control for the bare metal nodes at CHI@UC. Jupyter is working again, but CHI@UC servers are not responsive.
UPDATE: The outage is now resolved, systems are back online.
UPDATE: The Outage will begin around 9:15 pm Sunday, July 18th, and continue through mid-day on Tuesday July 20th.
Due to construction restrictions on datacenter access, we need to begin shutdown procedures the evening of July 18th, and service will not be restored until mid-day on Tuesday the 20th.
There will be a total outage for the CHI@UC site on Monday, July 19th, due to maintenance on the power system in the data center.
This will start around 1 AM Central time, and continue until 8 PM.
During this time, the following will not be available:
- JupyterHub + Trovi
- All nodes and the GUI for CHI@UC
It will not be possible to create leases, update existing leases, launch instances, or connect to already-launched instances.
CHI@TACC, CHI@NU, and CHI@Edge should be unaffected.
