Outage start Monday, October 19, 2020 6 a.m.
Expected end Tuesday, October 20, 2020 3 p.m.

Update 2020/10/20 15:00: we've stablized CHI@UC and the Jupyter environment and have verified that core functionality is looking good again. You should be able to log in and launch new experiments at all sites again. Apologies again for the long disturbance! And thanks for bearing with us.

Update 2020/10/20 09:00: some users were experiencing issues using the old sign-in page to log in to Chameleon resources. This was due to the ongoing issues at the CHI@UC site at the ANL data center after the power maintenance and should be resolved. CHI@TACC and KVM@TACC should be operational. CHI@UC and the Jupyter environment are still having problems and we'll update you when they're fully back online! Thank you for the continued patience.

Update 2020/10/19 18:00: the login system is restored and you should be able to access CHI@TACC, KVM@TACC, the Jupyter environment, and the user portal. CHI@UC is still down due to some fallout from the power maintenance. We're working on it.

There will be a total site outage for Chameleon on Monday, October 19th, due to maintenance on the power system in the data center. While we don't expect the outage to take all day, we are blocking out a wide time slot just in case. During this time, users will be unable to access Chameleon resources.

We'll send updates if the maintenance is completed earlier than expected.
