Update - May 18th: We have received an updated timeline for the datacenter shutdown and restart. In order to coordunate with on-site staff, the shutdown procedure will need to begin at 12:00 PM, not 5:00 PM as earlier indicated.

Due to datacenter-wide power and cooling maintenance, CHI@UC will be completely offline from 12:00 PM CDT on Monday, May 18th until 2:00 PM CDT on Tuesday, May 19th.
All instances will be powered down, and all APIs and services for CHI@UC will be unavailable. During this time, you will not be able to access your instances, create new ones, create leases, or extend existing leases.
If you have a lease that will expire during this window, please extend it before Monday, May 18th, as you won't be able to during the outage. (Contact us for assistance if you encounter issues; extending early gives us time to help.)
To ensure your instances come back up cleanly, please shut them down before 12:00 PM CDT on Monday, May 18th.
After this cutoff, any remaining instances will be hard-powered off along with all infrastructure services. After the downtime ends, you may need to manually power your instances back on.
If your workload must run uninterrupted during this window, please migrate it to another Chameleon site (CHI@TACC, CHI@NCAR, or KVM@TACC) beforehand. We're happy to answer any questions or help you plan around this downtime; please reach out if you'll be impacted.
